Always wanted to fly like Superman? Now is your chance! Daredevils with a good head for heights can ride a thrilling zipwire from the Stöckelalm hut all the way down into the valley 143 vertical metres below. The 1.6-kilometre course offers fabulous views of the Leogang Mountains.
Another attraction for fearless adventurers is climbing. As well as standard rope climbing there are a number of what are known as 'via ferrata' – climbing routes with handholds and footholds as well as a steel rope anchored into the rock from start to finish. A great way to experience the Alps up close but in a safe and enjoyable way.
The Saalfelden Leogang Card offers holders free use of the adventure swimming pool in Obsmarkt, including a huge slide and a diving tower. The next step up in the world of water adventures is canyoning, a sport which involves slipping, sliding and jumping through water-filled gorges in the company of a guide.

For those keen to cool of away from the hotel there are lots of natural swimming lakes in the region, including Pillersee, Wiesensee, Ritzensee and Zeller See. All of these lakes can be easily reached by bike.

Winter adventures on and off the pistes
Winter may be a quieter time of year for some, but most of the teenagers who come to us want to head out into the mountains and make the most of all that snow. The Asitz-Bergbahn cable car is just a stone's throw from our hotel, giving skiers and snowboarders direct access to one of Austria's largest ski resorts: the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm – Leogang – Fieberbrunn.
