„Taster ice climbing“ at the KRAXL-LEO at the Salzburger Hof Leogang
Since December 2014, is available for our guests with crampons and ice axes for "taster ice climbing" on the frozen waterfall just off the hotel wall. With tips and tricks from the experts at climbing school Mountain Mystics for beginners and advanced climbing the hotel's 15-meter-high ice climbing wall Kraxl-LEO and practice the special discipline of alpine climbing.
Weekly (weather permitting) it goes up on the frozen climbing wall. Together with trained guides, guests will learn the tricks of the "frosty" Extreme Sport and the correct use of their equipment know. Following the introduction exploring the climbing fans held two-Tope Rope stations the ice wall of the 15-meter-high frozen waterfall overlooking the wintry landscape Leogang. The approximately half-hour climb on Waterfall thrilled both beginners and advanced users. The total three-hour course "taster ice climbing" at the Salzburger Hof Leogang is bookable for up to 12 participants. The participation fee is about 5 euros for our hotel guests. In bad weather, switch climbing friends in the newly created, 50-square-meter indoor boulder room with different levels of difficulty.
